Just to let you know the ring arrived this afternoon. I have been excitedly waiting in to await its arrival. I was so excited about it I have already given him the ring - my childish impulse I think !
I was upset when it did not fit on his ring finger of his right hand. It was the right size and the size I had measured - however what I had not allowed for was the fact he had had his fingers broken and the knuckle was slightly deformed and too big. it fitted his wedding ring finger perfectly so I suggested he wear it as his wedding band for a while as it was also given by me with love and had deep meaning. I said everything happens for a reason so it was perhaps meant for that finger as it is meant to be attached to the heart and this ring will help give him courage in his heart. What do you think?. He is delighted with it and is going to wear it on his wedding finger.
