Ancient Egyptian Symbol of Winged Scarab with Handwoven stone Chain

Ancient symbol, found in Egyptian culture, symbolizes rebirth, renewal, resurrection, transformation, and growth

The winged Scarab is one of my all-time favourite symbols. This ancient symbol, found in Egyptian culture, symbolizes rebirth, renewal, resurrection, transformation, and growth.
It is a powerful reminder of our ability to recreate ourselves, open new doors and opportunities, and transform ourselves during the endless tides of life. It is also a symbol of the eternity of our soul and its journey to the afterlife.

Please see below note about measurements and available stones

The winged Scarab represented the Sun, the source of life for the ancient Egyptians, and the Sun god Ra, the creator of the cosmos, represented life and divine protection against death and disease.

The Scarab was often depicted in jewelry, hieroglyphs, engravings, and statues and as a symbol of resurrection. It was placed next to the dead so that they could be resurrected and thus attain eternal life. During mummification, heart scarabs were placed on the deceased to protect the heart and ensure it would not testify against them during judgment. Scarabs, often crafted from greenstone or other materials, were engraved on sarcophagi and tombs, believed to offer protection in the afterlife.

The Scarab beetle symbol depicts the dung beetle rolling its ball of dung, and for the ancient Egyptians, it symbolizes Ra rolling the Sun disc in the sky, therefore representing the concept of rebirth, mirroring the Sun’s daily journey. They served as protective amulets, funerary symbols, seals, and political statements, often bearing inscriptions of spells and prayers.

Various types of scarabs included heart scarabs, funerary scarabs, amuletic scarabs, royal commemorative scarabs, administrative scarabs, name scarabs, transformational scarabs, and sacred scarabs.

I’ve created this small version of the winged scarab after many requests. The bracelet is handwoven in silver or gold with beautiful natural stones such as tourmaline, fire opal, natural turquoise so that each one of you could pick up his/hers favorite combination for the inlaid stone of the scarab and the bracelet itself

Bracelet Measurement:
