Someone recently sent me a link to this article about Conor Oberst on “The Independent“. In the article Conors, a successful American singer, tells the story about his ring:
“This here,” says Conor Oberst, twisting off a turquoise-encrusted piece of jewellery, “is my Four Winds ring. A mysterious stranger sent it to me. If you read the inscription on the band it says in Hebrew: ‘Father of the four winds fill my sails across the sea of years.'”
Then he added:
“A native American friend of mine did it for me during a visit to the Pyramid of the Sun,” says the diminutive, raven-haired singer. “Now it feels extra magical and I wear it all the time.”
It was a little disappointed that the credit for my design goes for “A native American freind” but as long as the ring reaches it’s destiny I’m happy…
