Celtic-Christian Pendant

Dear David: My faith is what you would call christian-wicca. I believe in a God and a Goddess, that our creator intended there to be balance, yin/yang, male and female in all of us. The legend of the Celtic cross is that when Christianity was introduced to the Druids, a Latin cross was placed over the druidic circle which was symbolic of the moon goddess, creating the first Celtic Cross. I am not able to find a celtic cross that incorporates wiccan/druidic symbols. Christ is my God, my male deity, and the Goddess who rules the water is my female deity. I lean more toward wicca than toward Christianity but have a strong Christian background that I cannot let go of. Hence, my design reflects this with the larger outer circle overlapping, or placed atop, the cross and inner circle. Four symbols are carved on the outer circle, representing the four `elements: water, air, fire and earth. Any symbol could be used; I'm sure mine are not the best! Also, a symbol on the bail representing the spiral goddess (eternity, endlessness) completes the piece. A center stone of the wearer's choice could also add additional meaning to the pendant. Currently, there is no symbol that represents the christian-wicca faith. This pendant to me represents the belief I have that the Lord is our maker & savior, and reigns over us in heaven, but the Goddess, his right hand, heals us, empowers us, protects us, inspires us, and guides us through our daily life here on earth.
