The Song of The Woods Eco Pendant and Two Moving Videos

Greetings,
I am happy to announce that with the help of all the people around the world who have bought the “Mother Earth Pendant;” we have managed to plant more than 30000 trees through “Tree for the Future” organization.

To emphasize and strengthen this subject, I would like to present you with a new Ecological Pendant named “The Song of The Woods”. All profit from this pendant will be donated to planting trees.

The subject of trees is very close to me. A big portion of my childhood was spent at my grandparents house, a place surrounded by fruit trees and plants. My grandfather was an agronomist and was working for the UN in several African countries helping to develop agriculture. I still have a pair of cuffs given to him by Haile Selassie, the emperor of Ethiopia. From my grandfather I had learned the acute fragility of our ecological system and the importance of preserving it.

Through the years, I have developed an amusing theory that wherever I go, trees will follow me. The first day I moved to a new house in Tel Aviv, I woke up to the sounds of tractors and bulldozers all around our house and the street. A cleaning of area was made and new lawns and trees were planted. A few years later when I moved to the place where I live today, the same thing happened again. I got into an old apartment house at the south of Tel Aviv. The day after I arrived I woke up again to the sound of tractors and bulldozers. This time it was not just few trees and a lawn, it was 4 new parks all around the neighborhood with tropical trees all through the boulevard. Now, few years later, the place looks a like a forest...

Stopping deforestation is one of most critical tasks for humanity in this era. In that context I would like to display here a presentation of children/adults book called“The Green Mountain” which is related to the deforestation in Honduras and other countries and the tragedy that follows it. The book was published in Spanish and in Hebrew but here is also an English version presentation.

The Song of the Woods Pendant
The Songs of the Woods pendant is based on the ancient jewish tradition, that sees trees as a bond between humans and land and the continuity of humankind. This tradition is an altruistic perception that sees the tree as a way for spiritual communication and a path for which we continue to have beneficial influence on the world even after we leave it.

On the pendant engraved the Hebrew sentence which can be translated to “each grass and grass has it own tune, and from the tune of the grasses the song of the shepherd is made”. The Sentence is taken from the writings of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. When Rabbi Nachman of Breslov was looking at nature, he found inspiration in every life form. He would see and hear how each grass and tree has it own unique tune. Rabbi Nachman of Breslov considered that fact as the expression of the uniqueness of every living creature and it's special tune - nonetheless, the obligation of every human and especially the leader is to be sensitive and to listen to the “tune”of others.

The mother earth pendant was created to express and strengthen the connection between us, humanity and the only home we have, Earth. The four circles crossing eachother are part of the sacred geometry structure known as the SEED OF LIFE. The full structure is composed from seven intersecting circles which contain the basic mathematical laws of existence. The four intersecting circles are known as the Third Day of Genesis when according to the biblical story the oceans, the lands, the trees and the plants were created...

Hanging from the bottom of the pendant is a smaller medallion on which is engraved the question in Hebrew - “will you change it?” ("HATESHANU") This word is mentioned in the Biblical Code and although opinions vary as to the veracity of the Code, it did succeed in prophesying different historical events such as mass wars and the murder of Prime Minister Rabin. It is interesting to note that when texts in the Bible Code foresee such events, next to the section always appears the question “will you change it?” The future is not fixed; rather it is composed of almost an infinite number of possibilities, each one of which leads to a different possible future.

Around the word “will you change it?” is a passage from the prophet Isaiah “Say the letters backwards” which can be interpreted in two ways – tell or read the events backwards – in other words reveal future, or read the letters from the end to the beginning. It is fascinating to note that below the passage appear two words written from the end to the beginning “change the time”.

The future of Mother Earth and the destiny of humanity are in the hands of each one of us!
